Shield logo -16-13Inspired by Trinity West Pittston’s  response to a flood that devastated a number of Northeastern Pennsylvania communities in September of 2011, episcopalRELIEFnepa is a mobile ministry ready to respond to disasters large and small across our region. From that first response in West Pittston and surrounding towns in the aftermath of the floods to families affected by fires, the mission of this ministry is to be ready to respond with tools, supplies, manpower, and other resources when a disaster strikes.

Because community is at the heart of our ministry, episcopalRELIEFnepa also hosts meals from time to time to allow our neighbors to come together, share their stories and learn about resources that may help them with some of life’s more personal disasters such as unemployment or prolonged illness.
